Introduction
Hi there. My name is Alex Deleyn and I am 20 years old. I live in Belgium. I am currently studying computer science at Ghent Uni; although I actually already have a lot experience in many programing languages and computer-related skills. I have excellent knowledge of PHP, python, Javascript (with JQuery), (X)HTML, CSS and Java. I am also quite experienced with C/C++ and UNIX-like operatings systems. Learning new skills is certainly not a problem. Check out my projects page to see the fruits of my labor.
Besides being a major geek I am also very interested in music and other Arts. I play several instruments myself, and many of my friends are wonderful artists.

Launched May 13, 2004 with over 8 years in devout study of the occult and esoteric, the debauched and extreme annals of art history, The NACHTKABARETT™ is an unparalleled production which has been featured on MTV Germany, world renown artist Gottfried Helnwein's official site and has been utilized in numerous university course lectures and term papers around the world. This is an entity which is growing continuously to bring to light all references, esoteric or pop, made by other films, artists and bands such as Nine Inch Nails, Coil and The Smashing Pumpkins ; soon to be published in book form.

I am also working on my own PHP framework (by now succesfully deployed in several projects) called Ruiner.
I've written a small wrapper around CSS called ACSS, which has a few nifty shortcuts.
Finally my most long-term project is a simple scripting language called SunRa.
In these projects, Tuur did all styling and designing, while I took care of scripting & programming.

Music
When I am not programming, sleeping or eating, I'm probably drumming or playing guitar. I've been playing acoustic guitar for two-three years, and picked up electric a bit over a year ago. A few months ago I also started drumming. I am self-taught, although I have had a long and extensive musical training learning to play the piano when I was younger.
I am currently not playing in a band (besides occasionally jamming with a friend). If you are looking for a drummer or a guitarist, feel free to get in touch.
